Tennessee High School Volleyball - Cumberland County tips Hume-Fogg

September 6, 2024: Nashville, TN 37203

The Cumberland County Jets (Crossville, TN) volleyball held off the host Hume-Fogg Blue Knights (Nashville, TN), 2-1 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Jets now possess a 16-5 record. They play next when they travel to Notre Dame for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 7. Cumberland County will clash with a Fighting Irish team coming off a 3-2 league win over Silverdale Academy (Chattanooga, TN). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Hume-Fogg drops to 9-5 on the campaign. The Blue knights travel to Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA) to clash with the Longhorns in a non-league bout on Friday, September 6. The Longhorns come into the bout with a record of 14-5. Lanier lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Seckinger (Buford, GA)
