In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Franklin Tornadoes volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Sunapee Lakers.

The Tornadoes (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Raymond (Raymond, NH). The Rams enter the Division III challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Raymond got by Farmington (Farmington, NH), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lakers meet the Trinity Pioneers (Manchester, NH) in a Division III challenge, on Monday, September 9. Sunapee will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Inter-Lakes (Meredith, NH).
