Rhode Island High School Volleyball - Lincoln can't get by North Smithfield

North Smithfield Northmen (North Smithfield, RI) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, North Smithfield advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Northmen host Pilgrim (Warwick, RI) to face the Patriots in a Division 2 test on Monday, September 9. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 1-1. Pilgrim won 3-1 in their recent league test against West Warwick (West Warwick, RI)

The Lions now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burrillville for a Division 2 test on Wednesday, September 11. Lincoln will face a Broncos squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Rogers (Newport, RI). The Broncos record now stands at 4-0.
