In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Patrick Henry Patriots volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Freeman Mavericks.
The Patriots (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA). The enter the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Maggie Walker beat Henrico (Richmond, VA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Mavericks face the J.R. Tucker Tigers (Henrico, VA) in a Colonial test, on Tuesday, September 9. Freeman will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 4-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Gloucester (Gloucester, VA).
