Illinois High School Football - Belvidere falls to Guilford

September 6, 2025: Belvidere, IL 61008

The Guilford Vikings felled the host Belvidere Bucs football team by a score of 28-10 in Saturday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Vikings play the Rockford Auburn Knights (Rockford, IL) in a Northern Illinois test, on Friday, September 12. Guilford will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 28-6 league loss to Harlem (Machesney Park, IL).

With the defeat, Belvidere drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Bucs travel to Freeport (Freeport, IL) to meet the Pretzels in a Northern Illinois test on Friday, September 12.
