The Dimond Lynx flag football team scored 20 points and held the visiting Service Cougars to 14 in the Lynx league victory on Saturday.

In their next game, the Lynx face the Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK) in a Cook Inlet game, on Tuesday, September 9. Dimond will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 2-8 record after their 42-0 non-league loss to Wasilla (Wasilla, AK).

The Cougars (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Eagle River (Eagle River, AK). The Wolves enter the Cook Inlet game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Eagle River was edged by Bartlett (Anchorage, AK), 14-0, in a league outing.
