Colorado High School Flag Football - Evergreen trounces Wheat Ridge

September 6, 2025: Wheat Ridge, CO 80033

In Saturday's league match, the visiting Evergreen Cougars flag football squad scored a decisive 48-0 triumph over the Wheat Ridge Farmers.

The Cougars (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Mullen (Denver, CO). The Mustangs come into the non-league match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Mullen routed Rangeview (Aurora, CO), 33-12, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Farmers confront the Golden Demons (Golden, CO) in a 4A Jeffco battle, on Monday, September 8. Wheat Ridge will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Demons go into the battle with a 1-4 record after their 6-0 league loss to Steamboat Springs (Steamboat Springs, CO).
