In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Foxcroft Academy Ponies soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Caribou Vikings.

The Ponies (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Old Town (Old Town, ME). The Coyotes come into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Old Town edged Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME), 1-0, in a league test.

The Vikings now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hermon for a Class B - North outing on Tuesday, September 9. Caribou will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 6-0 league win over Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME). The Hawks record now stands at 1-0.
