New Jersey High School Soccer - J.P. Stevens knocks off Edison

In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting J.P. Stevens Hawks soccer squad scored a tight 6-1 victory over the Edison Eagles.
The Hawks (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Woodbridge (Woodbridge, NJ). The Barrons go into the Greater Middlesex - Red outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, Woodbridge was overwhelmed by South Brunswick (Monmouth Junction, NJ), 2-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Piscataway Chiefs (Piscataway, NJ) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 9. Edison will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
