The Carlisle Thundering Herd edged the visiting Mechanicsburg Wildcats soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next, the Thundering Herd face the Cedar Cliff Colts (Camp Hill, PA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 9. Carlisle will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Colts enter the game with a 0-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to New Oxford (New Oxford, PA).
The Wildcats (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Central Dauphin (Harrisburg, PA). The Rams enter the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Central Dauphin nudged Cumberland Valley (Mechanicsburg, PA), 4-3, in a non-league challenge.
