In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Lakeland Christian Vikings volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Discovery Spartans.

The Vikings (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Winter Haven Christian (Winter Haven, FL). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Winter Haven Christian was defeated by Auburndale (Auburndale, FL), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Spartans now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Winter Haven Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. Discovery will face a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Auburndale (Auburndale, FL). The Warriors record now stands at 3-2.
