In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting West Valley Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Pleasant Valley Vikings.
The Eagles (14-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Foothill (Palo Cedro, CA). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Foothill gained a win over West Valley (Cottonwood, CA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rocklin for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. Pleasant Valley will face a Thunder squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to St. Francis (Sacramento, CA). The Thunder record now stands at 1-1.
