Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Benton Tigers (Benton, PA) and the visiting Danville Ironmen (Danville, PA), saw Benton's soccer squad knock off Danville by a count of 3-1.

The Tigers (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Montgomery (Montgomery, PA). The Red Raiders enter the PIAA District IV-A battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Montgomery tipped Our Lady of Lourdes Regional (Coal Township, PA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

In their next game, the Ironmen meet the Jersey Shore Bulldogs (Jersey Shore, PA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 9. Danville will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 1-2 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Juniata (Mifflintown, PA).
