Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Northeast Bradford Panthers (Rome, PA) and the visiting Sullivan County Griffins (Laporte, PA), saw Northeast Bradford's soccer squad knock off Sullivan County by a count of 4-2.
The Panthers (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Galeton (Galeton, PA). The Tigers come into the PIAA District IV-A match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Galeton by Towanda (Towanda, PA), 2-1, in a league match.
The Griffins now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host South Williamsport for a Mid-Penn D4 match on Tuesday, September 9. Sullivan County will meet a Mountaineers team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Millville (Millville, PA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 1-6.
