The Sussex Academy Seahawks (Georgetown, DE) soccer nipped the visiting Salesianum Sallies (Wilmington, DE), 3-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Seahawks now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Woodbridge for a Henlopen South challenge on Thursday, September 11. Sussex Academy will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Sussex Tech (Georgetown, DE). The Raiders record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Salesianum moves to 0-1 on the year. The Sallies host Milford (Milford, DE) to encounter the Buccaneers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 9. The Buccaneers go into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Milford lost 1-0 in their recent non-league contest against Indian River (Dagsboro, DE)
