The Tug Valley Panthers soccer squad scored 9 points and held the visiting Shelby Valley Wildcats to 0 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Panthers now hold a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Scott for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 9. Tug Valley will face a Skyhawks team coming off a 1-1 league Logan (Logan, WV). The Skyhawks record now stands at 3-3.
The Wildcats (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Morgan County (West Liberty, KY). The Cougars go into the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Morgan County was overwhelmed by Menifee County (Frenchburg, KY), 6-0, in a non-league challenge.
