In Saturday's non-league match, the host Bristow Pirates softball team scored a tight 9-3 win over the Dewey Bulldoggers.

The Pirates (5-5) will now prepare for their match against Mannford (Mannford, OK). The Pirates come into the non-league match with a 9-2 record.

Next up, the Bulldoggers play the Salina Wildcats (Salina, OK) in a 2A game, on Monday, September 8. Dewey will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record.
