The Strother Yellowjackets (Seminole, OK) softball nipped the host Macomb Hornets (Macomb, OK), 4-3 in Saturday's league outing.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Varnum for a non-league outing on Monday, September 8. Strother will clash with a Whippets squad coming off a 9-5 league loss to Moss (Holdenville, OK). The Whippets record now stands at 11-9.

The Hornets (11-7) will now prepare for their test against Butner (Cromwell, OK). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Butner got by Calvin (Calvin, OK), 32-19, in a league outing.
