Beresford Watchdogs (Beresford, SD) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Alcester-Hudson Cubs (Alcester, SD), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Watchdogs (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD). The Panthers come into the A Region 4 challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Dakota Valley beat Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD), 3-0, in a league challenge.
