In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Ankeny Hawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Waterloo West Wahawks.
The Hawks (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Waukee (Waukee, IA). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 5-1 record.
The Wahawks now own a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prairie for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. Waterloo West will face a Hawks squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Anamosa (Anamosa, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 2-4.
