McGill-Toolen Yellowjackets (Mobile, AL) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Archbishop Hannan Hawks (Covington, LA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, McGill-Toolen improves its record to 16-2 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Bayside Academy (Daphne, AL) to face the Admirals in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. The Admirals go into the test with a record of 10-5. Bayside Academy won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Prattville (Prattville, AL)

The Hawks now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northshore for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. Archbishop Hannan will face a Panthers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Mt. Carmel (New Orleans, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
