Brilliant Tigers (Brilliant, AL) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Hackleburg Panthers (Hackleburg, AL), 2-1 in a non-league outing.

The Tigers now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Marion County for a 1A Area 14 outing on Tuesday, September 9. Brilliant will play a Red Raiders team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Russellville (Russellville, AL). The Red Raiders record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Hackleburg drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Phillips (Bear Creek, AL) to face the Bears in a 1A Area 14 outing on Tuesday, September 9. The Bears come into the outing with a record of 0-7. Phillips lost 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Berry (Berry, AL)
