The Floyd Central Highlanders volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Carmel Greyhounds to 0 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Highlanders now possess a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Avon for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6. Floyd Central will play a Orioles squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, IN). The Orioles record now stands at 0-9.

The Greyhounds (4-6) will now prepare for their game against Tri-West Hendricks (Lizton, IN). The Bruins come into the non-league bout with a 11-3 record. In their last bout, Tri-West Hendricks was topped by Crown Point (Crown Point, IN), 2-0, in a non-league bout.
