In Saturday's non-league test, the host Marksville Tigers volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Church Point Bears.

With the win, Marksville advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to St. Edmund (Eunice, LA) to face the Fighting Blue Jays in a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. The Fighting Blue Jays go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Bears now sport a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rayne for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 9. Church Point will face a Wolves squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Westlake (Westlake, LA). The Wolves record now stands at 4-2.
