The Colbert County Indians edged the host Sheffield Bulldogs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Indians now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to East Lawrence for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6. Colbert County will play a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Arab (Arab, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Sheffield drops to 0-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Phil Campbell (Phil Campbell, AL) to play the Bobcats in a 3A Area 15 outing on Tuesday, September 9.
