Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Douglas Trojans (Winston, OR) and the visiting Coquille Red Devils (Coquille, OR), observed Douglas's volleyball team top Coquille by a count of 2-0.

The Trojans (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Amity (Amity, OR). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Amity was knocked off by Taft (Lincoln City, OR), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Red Devils battle the St. Mary's Crusaders (Medford, OR) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 9. Coquille will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Crusaders go into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Glide (Glide, OR).
