Cotter Ramblers (Winona, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting La Crescent Lancers (La Crescent, MN), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Ramblers (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Fillmore Central (Harmony, MN). The Falcons enter the Three Rivers challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Fillmore Central was beaten by Apple Valley (Apple Valley, MN), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Lancers now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lewiston-Altura for a Three Rivers test on Tuesday, September 9. La Crescent will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Cleveland (Cleveland, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-4.
