In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Summertown Eagles volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Creek Wood Red Hawks.

The Eagles (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Spring Hill (Columbia, TN). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Spring Hill edged Battle Creek (Spring Hill, TN), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Red Hawks meet the Dickson County Cougars (Dickson, TN) in a non-league test, on Monday, September 8. Creek Wood will attempt to advance on its 11-2 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 7-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Northwest (Clarksville, TN).
