California High School Volleyball - Delano over Wasco

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Delano Tigers (Delano, CA) and the host Wasco Tigers (Wasco, CA), observed Delano's volleyball team top Wasco by a count of 2-0.

The Tigers (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Granite Hills (Porterville, CA). The Grizzlies enter the non-league test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, Granite Hills was defeated by Farmersville (Farmersville, CA), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now own a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host McFarland for a South Sequoia challenge on Monday, September 8. Wasco will meet a Cougars team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Mission College Prep (San Luis Obispo, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-13.
