In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Union Knights volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels.

The Knights (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA). The Wolverines go into the non-league test with a 12-3 record. In their last test, Dike-New Hartford nudged Beckman (Dyersville, IA), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Rebels now have a 3-4 record. They play next when they host East Marshall for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 9. Gladbrook-Reinbeck will play a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Cardinal (Eldon, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-6.
