With the win, Vermilion Catholic improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Franklin (Franklin, LA) to encounter the Hornets in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 11. The Hornets go into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Bears now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to David Thibodaux for a non-league contest on Saturday, September 6.
