Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Hilltop Lancers (Chula Vista, CA) and the host Southwest SD Raiders (San Diego, CA), observed Hilltop's volleyball team top Southwest SD by a count of 2-0.

The Lancers (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Rock Academy (San Diego, CA). The Warriors go into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Rock Academy achieved victory over Horizon Prep (Rancho Santa Fe, CA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Raiders now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Ysidro for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. Southwest SD will battle a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Julian (Julian, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-7.
