In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Live Oak Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Paradise Bobcats.

The Lions (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Williams (Williams, CA). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Williams was beaten by Oroville (Oroville, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Bobcats now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Princeton for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 6. Paradise will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Chester (Chester, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-9.
