Wisconsin High School Volleyball - Mellen can't hold off Prentice

In Saturday's non-league match, the Prentice Buccaneers (Prentice, WI) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Mellen Granite Diggers (Mellen, WI), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Buccaneers confront the Mercer Tigers (Mercer, WI) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 6. Prentice will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Gibraltar (Fish Creek, WI).

With the loss, Mellen drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Granite diggers travel to Washburn (Washburn, WI) to clash with the Castle Guards in a Indianhead - East bout on Thursday, September 11. The Castle Guards come into the bout with a record of 2-4. Washburn won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Lac Courte Oreilles (Hayward, WI)
