In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host New Hampton Chickasaws volleyball team scored a 2-0 win over the Sumner-Fredericksburg Cougars.

With the win, New Hampton improves its record to 5-4 on the season. The Chickasaws travel to MFL MarMac (Monona, IA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 4-7. MFL MarMac lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Maquoketa Valley (Delhi, IA)

The Cougars now own a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Wapsie Valley for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 9. Sumner-Fredericksburg will play a Warriors team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Denver (Denver, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 9-2.
