The Rebels (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Southeast Valley beat Newell-Fonda (Newell, IA), 3-2, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Emmetsburg E'Hawks (Emmetsburg, IA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 11. Newell-Fonda will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The E'Hawks go into the test with a 4-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Kuemper (Carroll, IA).
