In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Southlands Christian Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Norwalk Lancers.

The Eagles (15-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Warren (Downey, CA). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Warren was beaten by South (Torrance, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Lancers now own a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bell Gardens for a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. Norwalk will face a Lancers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Buena Park (Buena Park, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 7-3.
