The Penasco Panthers volleyball squad (Penasco, NM), dropped 3-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Pecos Panthers (Pecos, NM)

The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against McCurdy (Espanola, NM). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, McCurdy notched a victory over Mora (Mora, NM), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Panthers now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 9. Penasco will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Mountainair (Mountainair, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.
