Sage Hill Lightning (Newport Beach, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Yorba Linda Mustangs (Yorba Linda, CA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Lightning (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Etiwanda (Etiwanda, CA). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Etiwanda achieved victory over Beaumont (Beaumont, CA), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now own a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carlsbad for a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. Yorba Linda will face a Lancers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Francis Parker (San Diego, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 5-4.
