The Sierra Chieftains (Tollhouse, CA) volleyball held off the host Templeton Eagles (Templeton, CA), 1-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Chieftains now possess a 14-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mission College Prep for a non-league match on Saturday, September 6. Sierra will battle a Royals squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Golden West (Visalia, CA). The Royals record now stands at 10-2.
