The Animas Panthers topped the visiting Cobre Indians volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Panthers now have a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lordsburg for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 8. Animas will confront a Mavericks team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM). The Mavericks record now stands at 0-2.
The Indians (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Chaparral (Chaparral, NM). The Lobos enter the non-league test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Chaparral gained a win over Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM), 3-1, in a non-league test.
