The Gulfport Admirals volleyball team (Gulfport, MS), was nudged 3-2 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS)

The Hawks (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Gulfport (Gulfport, MS). The Admirals enter the Class 6 Region 8 challenge with a 9-6 record.

Next, the Admirals encounter the Harrison Central Red Rebels (Gulfport, MS) in a Class 6 Region 8 challenge, on Thursday, September 9. Gulfport will attempt to move on its 9-6 season record. The Red Rebels enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over West Jones (Laurel, MS).
