The Hardin-Jefferson Hawks topped the host Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's league test.

The Hawks now have a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Conroe for a non-league test on Thursday, September 9. Hardin-Jefferson will confront a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Benjamin Davis (Houston, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 16-8.

The Longhorns (14-9) will now prepare for their test against Orangefield (Orangefield, TX). The Bobcats enter the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Orangefield was knocked off by Hardin-Jefferson (Sour Lake, TX), 3-1, in a non-league test.
