The Payton College Prep Grizzlies volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Ridgewood Rebels to 1 in the Grizzlies non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Grizzlies now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rickover Naval for a non-league game on Saturday, September 10.
The Rebels (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL). The Warriors enter the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
Match Summary
The Freshman B came out with a thrilling three set victory over the Ridgewood Rebels. The Payton Grizzlies were above to shake off that tough first set loss of 13 - 25 and they bounced back to win the second set 25 - 14. The Grizzlies were able to force a third set and clinched the victory 15 - 7.
