South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Sabres face the Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 13. South Mecklenburg will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 0-0 non-league Weddington (Matthews, NC).
The Trojans now have a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to East Mecklenburg for a non-league test on Monday, September 12. Olympic will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Garinger (Charlotte, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 3-4.
