The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC) and the host West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC), saw Hibriten's volleyball squad beat West Caldwell by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Hibriten upgrades its record to 1-4 on the year. The Panthers travel to East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Monday, September 12. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 6-4. East Burke won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC)

The Warriors now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lincolnton for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 8. West Caldwell will play a Wolves squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Bandys (Catawba, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 6-2.
