The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC) and the host Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC), saw Cherryville's soccer squad knock off Crest by a count of 2-0.

The Ironmen now hold a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Highland Tech for a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A test on Monday, September 12. Cherryville will meet a Rams squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Huss (Gastonia, NC). The Rams record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Crest drops to 0-8 on the season. The Chargers host Huss (Gastonia, NC) to meet the Huskies in a Big South 3A test on Monday, September 12. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 2-2. Huss won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC)
