Georgia High School Softball - Colquitt County bounces Tift County

The Colquitt County Packers (Norman Park, GA) softball routed the visiting Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA), 10-2 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Packers (7-2) will now prepare for their bout against Lanier County (Lakeland, GA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 14-0 record. In their last bout, Lanier County toppled Charlton County (Folkston, GA), 7-0, in a league bout.
The Blue Devils now possess a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Northside for a 6A Region 1 bout on Thursday, September 8. Tift County will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Crawford County (Roberta, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-5.
