The Lions now sport a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they host Lovejoy for a non-league match on Monday, September 12. Westlake will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Woodward Academy (College Park, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Forest Park falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA) to face the Tigers in a 6A Region 3 match on Thursday, September 8. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 0-4. Mundy's Mill lost 18-0 in their recent league match against Rockdale County (Conyers, GA)
