Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Glascock County Panthers (Gibson, GA) and the host Jefferson County Warriors (Louisville, GA), witnessed Glascock County's softball squad tip Jefferson County by a count of 2-0.

The Panthers now sport a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Georgia Military College for a 1A D-II Region 5 match on Tuesday, September 13.

With the loss, Jefferson County moves to 2-11 on the season. The Warriors travel to Academy of Richmond County (Augusta, GA) to face the Musketeers in a non-league match on Friday, September 9. The Musketeers go into the match with a record of 0-7. Academy of Richmond County lost 15-0 in their recent league match against Harlem (Harlem, GA)
